I don’t have much time these days.. months actually.. and i was wondering.. maybe i should hire some html-css coder to convert my phpBB2 templates to phpBB3. Put them on sale for a fair (low) price, probably around $20, and then pay him with those money. The question then is.. can i even find someone to do this coding, and is anyone willing to pay for code on the internet anymore? To investigate this further, please participate in the poll found in the menu on the right. You can check as many answers as you need.

Here’s my first template for bbPress, I call it Scoun, hope you like it. Thank you Will Hough, for the great header image.
Ok, maybe not a battle, but still.. there is a big difference between phpBB3 and bbPress. And the main difference, in my opinion, is that most people seem to know about the first and noone knows about the latter. But there are other differences of course, and my favorite one is that it’s so darn simple to work with.
BbPress is made by the same guys who made you WordPress, and it basically works in the same way also. The word to remember here is: Plugin. If bbPress is missing a feature you like, download a plugin. It’s sort of like the good ol’ days with phpBB2 and hacks/mods, only that the bbPress guys will do most of the work for you.
PhpBB3 is, in my opinion, a nice piece of work, don’t get me wrong about that. A (big?) handful of people have spent a lot of time making it, and the result is good. They have managed to include many of the useful features that used to have to be added later on in phpBB2. But.. and there’s a but.. for a template coder like myself who likes to change more than just the header and CSS files, it has become too big. Not that it’s any more difficult than it was with phpBB2, it just takes even longer time now. And i’m not sure i have this time anymore. I don’t want to badmouth phpBB3, not at all. But i would like to give bbPress my attention for the time being. And the reason is that it’s much easier to code templates for.
It’s simply more enjoyable to work with.

I started on this theme for WordPress 2 quite some time ago (2 years?), but never got around to actually release it. Well, here it is then. I call it MiniMania and I hope you’ll like it.
It has been more than a year since my last layout change, which is - I’m sad to say - a new record. It has been busy times at the university for me, that is the reason everything has been kind of slow around here.
This new layout is actually an old WordPress theme that i started on coding a couple of years ago, one that I just never got around to finally finish and publish. It’s still not completely finished, as it needs some adjustments and coding on some parts. Once it’s done, I’ll be sure to let you know.
I call it “Volume”.
